Gregory E. Vaci
Commissioner
Prior to his appointment to the Illinois Human Rights Commission, Mr. Vaci served as the Chief of the Civil Bureau for the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office, and as an assistant state’s attorney in the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office as a criminal prosecutor and as a supervisor in the Civil Bureau. Mr. Vaci has extensive experience in the area of labor and employment law, and has litigated cases involving claims of discrimination and workplace harassment in both federal and state courts as well as in administrative agencies. He graduated from Loyola University of Chicago with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and from the University of Illinois-Chicago School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree.
